Dr. Karim Alibhai

Dr. Karim Z. Alibhai D.M.D.Dr. Alibhai received his predoctoral training in Microbiology and Immunology at McGill University, in Montreal, Canada. He subsequently graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1994, with his dental degree.
During his senior year at Tufts Dr. Alibhai was awarded the American Association of Endodontists award for Clinical Excellence. Upon graduation, he was accepted into the post-doctoral Endodontic program at Tufts, where he completed his specialty training in 1996. He was in private practice in the Boston area for six years, while also teaching at the post-doctoral level at Harvard University School of Dental Medicine.
In November 2001, Dr. Alibhai got his Board Certification and became a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. He has lectured at various schools and organizations nationally as well as internationally, and is currently an Affiliate Assistant Professor at the University of Washington, School of Dentistry.
After moving to the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Alibhai founded ADVANCED ENDODONTICS in 2002
Dr. Karim Alibhai, who has been voted a Top Endodontist by his professional peers every year since 2005 in the Seattle Magazine, was also voted by his peers as one of "The Best Dentists in America" in a publication of leading dentists.
In 2013 Dr. Alibhai was appointed to the Dental Quality Assurance Commission at the Department of Health by Governor Jay Inslee. He served as a commission member for a 4 year term ending in 2017.
He is a professional member of various local and national dental organizations which include the American Dental Association, American Association of Endodontists, College of Diplomates, American Board of Endodontists, American College of Dentists, the Pierre Fauchard Academy, the Washington State Dental Association and the Seattle King County Dental Society. He is a past president of the Washington State Association of Endodontists, and the Seattle King County Dental Foundation. Dr. Alibhai serves as an endodontic consultant in a number of dental study groups locally and internationally.

In his spare time, an avid soccer and Sounders fan, Dr. Alibhai enjoys travelling, golfing and spending time with his family.



Dr. Kenji Beppu

Dr. Kenji BeppuDr. Kenji Beppu completed his pre-doctoral studies in Zoology at the University of Washington. He subsequently graduated from the University of Washington School of Dentistry in 1999, with his Doctorate in Dental Surgery.
After graduating from dental school, Dr. Beppu left Seattle to attend an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency sponsored by the United States Air Force in Washington DC.  He then served as a general dentist for 3 years in Okinawa, Japan and Tacoma, Washington.  After serving his country he returned to the University of Washington to attend the Graduate Endodontic program, where he completed his specialty training in 2005.
Dr. Beppu has been voted a Top Endodontist by his professional peers in Seattle Magazine each year since 2008 and has been an Affiliate Assistant Professor in the Endodontic Department at the University of Washington since 2005.
Dr. Beppu is a professional member of various dental organizations including the American Dental Association, American Association of Endodontists, Washington State Association of Endodontists, Washington State Dental Association, Seattle King County Dental Society and participates in several dental study clubs on the eastside.

In his free time he enjoys traveling, golfing and spending time with his wife Marci and their four children.



Dr. Kathy McNally

Dr. McNally is a graduate of the University of Maryland, and served in the U.S. Army for 24 years where she was appointed the assistant director for the Army Endodontic Postgraduate Program in Fort Gordon Georgia from 2007-2011 and the Navy’s Endodontic Postgraduate Program in Bethesda, Maryland from 2011 to 2016 when she retired.

She is a diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics (2008), and earned both her B.S. (1982) and D.D.S. (1992) degrees from the University of Maryland. She went on to earn her AEGD Certificate at the U.S. Army base in Fort Jackson, South Carolina, in 1993, before completing her endodontic residency at Maryland from 1999-2001.

She continues to be involved with multiple educational institutions teaching graduate Endodontic students.



Dr. Callie Smithson

Dr. Susan RobertsDr. Smithson earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from West Virginia University. She returned to WVU for dental school and graduated with honors. During her doctorate education she was elected the Vice President of Community Service for the school of dentistry, organizing an expedition into the Amazon to provide dental care for the indigenous population.

She was the recipient of the International College of Dentistry Leadership Award, Horace Wells Anesthesiology Award, and International Congress of Implantologists' Student Achievement Award. In recognition of her academic merit she was awarded a full scholarship and upon graduation was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.

She then completed a general practice residency at the San Francisco VA Medical Center, followed by an endodontic residency at Louisiana State University, earning a Master of Science in Dentistry.

Dr. Smithson is from Alaska and loves running, hiking, and skiing. She spends most of her free time running races or training for one.
